In the segment of "Shield", I was responsible for texturing the armor of the character wearing the wolf pelt. This was extremely fun getting to hand paint all of those scale individually as well as bringing the metallic metal parts to life.
In the "Sword" segment, I contributed to a number of textures including the tiled wood, the tiled tatami mats, the tiled screen textures. I also worked on the Samurai armor, the armor on the Predator and his skin textures around the face.
In "Bullet", I textured the both of the outfits (white t-shirt version & flight jacket version) that Torres wears for most of the segment. I also worked on a number of smaller assets like the parachutes, and some random textures to the hero plane.
I was able to texture both the hot rod and the pickup truck. It was fun trying to give the two vehicles a different feel. The pick up needed feel worn and old, the hot rod was supposed to feel new and shiny with a little bit of dust & dirt kick up.
I was also able to put my stamp on the Predator's ship in "Bullet".
I finally get to show off the work I got to do on Predator: Killer of Killers for The Third Floor. You have no idea how excited I am for this project to be released. I was responsible for a wide variety of assets across the film. Namely the armor for the Ninja Predator, some of the costumes for a few of the background vikings. as well as Torres' costumes seen here, and the hot rod being driven through a desert scene. I helped bring this project to life through a number of different techniques from straight up hand painting the textures in Substance Painter, to creating tiled painterly textures in both Substance Designer and Substance Painter. I can't wait for everyone to see this great project and I will update this post with more, once I get more specific production renders.
